OUR BANK

Bancorp International Limited was founded on June 19, 1997, and began operations on 30 August with a Board chaired by Mr. Thomas Bornitz, in accordance with the Law "On Offshore Banking" approved in 1996.
The expansion policy has intensified dramatically in 2000, settling operational logistics for Europe and America.
On April 17, 2004 a financial group led by Dr. Federico Saenz-Rodrigo Batista, and integrated by large investors such as Robert Weber (ex GS), among others, became a major shareholder of the bank to acquire 31 % of the shares available.
In late 2008, Mr. Fernando Martinez sells entire stake to the Spanish Group of Bankers (GEB), preceded by Mr. Saul Pastrasa.
Early 2009 joins Bancorp, Nederlandse Group & Deutsch Group, so the Bank is preceded by Dr. Patryck Flynn, thus providing banking services to our customers around the world on terms favorable bank controlled by the government New Zealand.
